You will learn to facilitate by being the facilitator! With small class sizes we ensure hands-on, practise based learning. The highlight moment of practice-based learning is running your first 2 hour workshop. You’ll take a group of people you have not met through a ‘Introduction to LEGO® Serious Play®’ This will give you a terrific confidence boost, and you’ll leave your training having already run your first Build Level 1 and 2 workshop.

You will receive extensive resources, including a paper copy of “Mastering the LEGO® Serious Play® Method,” and digital copies of our other three books, “How to Facilitate the LEGO® Serious Play®  Method Online” and “Building Better Learning”. You’ll also get Window Exploration kit of LEGO® bricks. Plus the Build Level 3 course handout.

The key skill of delivering a successful system level workshop, is planning your workshop. We use two planning modules to teach you a set of planning skills that you can apply after class to any kind of meeting or workshop – including those that won’t benefit or should not use LEGO® Serious Play®. Many graduates report that this was a real lightbulb moment and a highlight of this training.

This class teaches facilitation skills, skills that can be used in any kind of meeting or workshop. We believe facilitation is a skill a ‘Participatory Leader’ has. The ability to get the best out of everyone in a meeting and achieve a meaningful outcome. Seen in this way, this training is really a Leadership Development class.

In class your trainer will share real life client case studies of how they have designed and facilitated system level workshops. These cases will bring to life for you how the ideas in class translate into real world outcomes.

What happens after a group build a system model? We have updated the old version of the original Build Level 3 application, ‘Real Time Strategy’ Now you’ll know know to run Insights stages and use entirely new frameworks that help groups clarify strategic and operational objectives, identify new measures and catalytic measures and clarify by actions and learning.

We have added so many new hacks to Build Level 3, things that to the best of our knowledge our competitors simply have not thought about. We will not share them here, but in class we will show you some brilliant and original hacks that make system model workshops so much more effective. 

Build Level 3 workshops are based on a framework, the original framework is called Real Time Strategy. We think it’s flawed and we’ll tell you why in class. We’ll also share with you new frameworks we have designed and used successfully with our clients. Better yet, we’ll encourage you to design your own new frameworks.

Upon successful completion of the training, you’ll receive a certificate recognising you as certified System Level LEGO® Serious Play® facilitator. We consider these certificates the highest value in the market, mainly because we have seen you facilitate in class. This is a very different approach the traditionalists in this market.
